On 11 Dec. 2025, rani in collaboration with BrigGen (BEL MC) (ret.) Dr Erwin Dhondt convened a high-level roundtable with a select group of senior experts from the European and NATO defence and security communities to discuss – under the Chatham House rule – how to advance health resilience and preparedness in modern security frameworks. Experts agreed that public health is its own vital priority and requires dedicated investment. But health must also be invested in as a national security priority.
