On 11 Feb. 2026, U.K. experts in health and security from both civilian and military perspectives gathered to discuss – under the Chatham House rule – how to advance health resilience and preparedness in modern security frameworks. Experts agreed that public health is its own vital priority and requires dedicated investment. But health must also be invested in as a national security priority.
