Special Meeting on INB: Gender in Pandemic Preparedness and Response: A Pandemic Action Network & Women in Global Health Working Group

During this special meeting of Pandemic Action Network and Women in Global Health’s Gender in Pandemic Preparedness and Response Working Group, the group analyzed the latest draft of the Pandemic Accord from the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB), and discussed how to elevate key gender priorities during the INB’s November negotiations. Dr. Lwazi Manzi, Head of Secretariat for the AU Commission on Africa’s COVID-19 Response Strategy, provided framing remarks. Readout and notes are available.

The Gender in Pandemic Preparedness and Response Working Group is hosted by the Pandemic Action Network and Women in Global Health. This working group provides a platform for members to share insights on gender equity within the ongoing pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response processes.
