The Friends of the Pandemic UN High-Level Meeting is an informal, time-limited platform for organisations working to support progress in pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response (PPPR), and specifically working to secure a strong political declaration from the 2026 UN High-Level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response – co-convened by The Elders, FOUR PAWS, The Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response, and rani.
The Friends of the PPPR High-Level Meeting’s Priority Asks serve as high-level, collective priorities from the broader PPPR community, intended as a succinct, high-level summary of priorities for the HLM to fill gaps in the pandemic PPR ecosystem and focus leader attention and action. The priorities and recommendations were developed through a consultative process in late 2025 and updated in early 2026.
