At the July working group meeting, Elo Otobo (Save The Children UK) and Jackline Kiarie (Amref Health Africa) discussed how gender, equity, and the unique needs of marginalized populations are being addressed in preparations for September’s UN High-level Meeting on Strengthening Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response. Co-chairs Rosemary Mburu (WACI Health) and Dr. Sumegha Asthana (Women in Global Health) facilitated a discussion on ways to influence the ongoing negotiations. Readout and notes are available.
